Pulling tape does three jobs in one

March 11, 2011
The 3-1 Premise Muletape from Ideal Industries threads, measures and pulls.

Now available from Ideal Industries, the 3-1 Premise Muletape product cuts pulling and installation time on premises-cabling jobs, Ideal says. The tape allows installers to thread, measure and pull with a single product.

"No need for proofing with poly line or pulling with string/rope combinations," the company says. "And because it is imprinted with sequential footage or meter markings, there is no need to go back and manually calculate length of cable you will need."

Ideal also points out that the 3-1 Premise Muletape product eliminates the potential for duct-cutting, enables lower elongation to reduce snap-back, reduces tension at the start of a pull, and has a pulling strength of 400 or 1800 pounds. The 400-lb model comes with 4500 feet per bucket, while the 1800-lb model comes with 1300 feet per bucket.
