Denver, CO -- comCables, a Denver-based manufacturer of structured cabling and low voltage connectivity systems, has been awarded as "Colorado’s #1 Small Business of 2012" by BusinessLeader.com. Selected from more than 300 small businesses, the company was honored for "its dynamic approach to cultivating the structured cabling market place in Colorado by diversifying their product offering and distribution channels while focusing on community engagement."
comCables notes that it has historically exhibited strong financial results, particularly with a steady stream of revenue growth over the past three years, and just topped off by the best Q2 in the company’s history. With four locations throughout Colorado, the cabling systems supplier stimulates both the Denver and Colorado economy through job creation and use of local resources. The company is composed of 40 employees, 90% of whom live in Colorado, more than half of them Colorado natives.
BusinessLeaders.com chose its honorees based on revenue growth, and business achievement. The top business award is also based on community involvement. comCables is a proud supporter of Sun Valley Youth Center, an inner-city youth organization. The cabling supplier has raised over $500,000 since its founding in 1999 through annual contributions and events including a golf tournament, wine tasting and kickball tournament.
“Our entire team pushes hard every day to serve and empower our customers, and we are proud to be considered the Number One Small Business in Colorado,” comments Greg Greenwood, president and CEO of comCables.
