Cables To Go re-brands as C2G

June 15, 2012
Unveiled at InfoComm 2012, the new brand is intended to better communicate the strategic direction and vision of the company.

At InfoComm 2012 in Las Vegas (June 13-15), Cables To Go, a supplier of high performance cabling and connectivity products, announced that it has re-branded the company. The new brand, C2G, is intended to better communicate the strategic direction and vision of the supplier by offering a broader portfolio of connectivity platforms, investment in the development of advanced tools, and geographic expansion across Europe.

“It is with great pride and excitement that we launch the C2G brand," commented Bill Diederich, president and CEO of Lastar, parent company of C2G. "Over the years our product portfolio has grown beyond cabling to include A/V connectivity solutions that utilize the latest technology to provide more options for our customers. With the C2G brand, we now have better alignment between our products and brand that communicates our offering to key partners and customers. With a remarkable 28 years of experience, we are poised to realize our full potential in getting our customers and partners connected."

Along with launching the C2G brand, the newest additions to the company’s solution portfolio are being featured at InfoComm. Its RapidRun Multi-Format platform iteration features enhanced engineering that includes individually shielded pairs and an isolated ground for audio lines. C2G says that these upgrades meet the rigorous demand for applications typically found in a conference room, classroom, or other similar commercial environments.

Also on display at the show, the company's TruLink HDMI over Cat5, and TruLink Media Gateway represent an expansion of respective product lines and provide greater flexibility, simple installation, and the ability to extend audio and video signals over long distances.

C2G also this week announced the availability of its ConnectXpress service, a guided, self-service platform for selecting connectivity products. The platform allows customers to quickly and conveniently find the right products to match specific application needs. For more information, visit www.c2g.com/.
