Data center design/install firm has expanded its physical infrastructure expertise to the southeastern part of the U.S.

Integrated Electrical Services, Inc. (IES) has announced an expansion of its data center business. The company provides data center design and installation services, as well as materials warehousing and pre-fabrication capabilities for data centers.

The IES Communications Division, based in Tempe, Arizona, has expanded its physical infrastructure expertise to the southeastern part of the U.S. "Our leading financial and information technology customers have data centers in the Southeast. This office enables us to enhance our onsite presence with these long-term and expanding customers," said Don Fishstein, president of IES Communications.

Also, with installations pending for some top U.S. companies, IES has opened a Hillsborough, North Carolina office to support the data center market. The new office supports recent, large IES data center projects for customers located in Greensboro, Maiden and Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and in Boydton, Virginia. The new office houses data center design and installation personnel and functions as a materials warehouse and pre-fabrication facility for the surrounding data center installations.
