September 3, 2009 -- Cables To Go announced that Herman Procurement & Logistics as a distributor for its products throughout the United States. Herman, a provider of connectivity and infrastructure products and services to the commercial AV and broadcast industries, will be distributing the Cables To Go RapidRun modular cabling system as well as the company's audio/video products.
"With its RapidRun system and Cat 5 solutions, Cables To Go has some unique and innovative offerings that will help us attract new business and increase our value offering to our customers," says Jeffrey Wolf, executive vice president for Herman. "It's an easy decision when we can provide quality products backed by great customer service that allow our customers to save time and money in both the installation and the ability to easily upgrade the system."
Cables To Go's RapidRun system supports multiple signals over a single cable. In order to upgrade or change equipment, users only need to change the system's cable terminal, known as the break-away flying lead or break-away wall plate. According to the company, this saves installation time, accommodates last minute changes, reduces the likelihood of faulty terminations, and allows the system to evolve with different system needs.
"The partnership with Herman brings us even greater recognition in many of the same markets where we are seeing rapid growth," comments Bill Diederich, president of Lastar, parent company of Cables To Go. "They support many of the nation's largest integrators, which also helps us increase our exposure."
