ATLANTA, GA -- Automated Systems Design, Inc. (ASD), a national installer of custom turnkey information transport systems, has completed structured cabling systems installations for two CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) Mid-South office moves. CBRE is a commercial property and real estate services adviser.
ASD designed and implemented a structured cabling system for the CBRE - Raleigh office move to the CAPTRUST Tower at North Hills in Raleigh, North Carolina. ASD also provided a voice and data cabling system for the CBRE - Richmond office, now located at 6641 West Broad Street. CBRE - Mid-South, part of CB Richard Ellis' affiliate network, includes offices in Norfolk; Newport News; Charlottesville; Richmond and Fredericksburg, Virginia; and Raleigh and Greensboro, North Carolina.
"ASD designed and implemented standards based networks for CBRE Mid-South. These networks are not dependent upon any single manufacturer. The systems are designed to handle multiple protocols with an eye toward future technologies," said Bob Keys, ASD operations manager.
Both structured cabling systems were designed using ASD's signature iCAT-ITS Category 5E Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) Plenum (CMP) rated cables. "ASD was recommended to us for our Raleigh office move. They did such a good job with our first project that we brought them on to help us with our Richmond office move as well," said Kathleen Hurley, CBRE Mid-South's Regional CIO.
