Beacon Solutions extends contract with Fortune 100 pharmaceutical house
Beacon will perform ITS engineering inspections at several locations in Dublin, Ireland.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Beacon Enterprise Solutions announced the execution of a new contract with an existing customer, a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company with domestic and international locations. Beacon, through a predecessor company, has been working with this client since 2001 and continues to introduce information technology systems (ITS) infrastructure to assist in the client’s commitments to high standards and improving and preserving human life. As part of this new engagement, Beacon will perform ITS engineering inspections at several locations in Dublin, Ireland that have been identified by the client as potential locations for a new facility.
Bruce Widener, CEO of Beacon Enterprise Solutions said, “The market for fully integrated ITS solutions at this scale and over this geography is largely untapped, providing Beacon with significant business opportunities as we strive to penetrate new regions with our multi-national growth plans.”
Based upon the currently available technology infrastructure inside and outside the location, Beacon says it will evaluate and recommend the facility that best fits the client’s needs. Once the client has accepted the recommendation and contracted for the facility, Beacon will perform comprehensive Layer 1 engineering and design of systems throughout the new facility.
Widener added, “Being selected by this Fortune 100 client for the delivery of additional ITS services demonstrates the strength of our value proposition. We provide an integrated solution that allows them to utilize one strategic partner with one point of contact to deliver ITS services to their entire world-wide network infrastructure. Part of our enterprise strategy involves developing comprehensive ITS solutions that can assist our clients in responding to market conditions and competitors’ movements through Beacon’s ITS managed services including planning, design, project management for structured cabling, outside plant, data center, open office, and smart building services – all under a single agreement or purchase order."
