The U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) is looking for a contractor to install and test fiber optic cable connections among workstations at the Atlantic Fleet Combat Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
The contractor will be asked to use six-strand fiber optic cable and Keyed LC multimode connectors, as well as terminate all workstations with MTRJ connectors. After installation, the contractor must conduct fiber optic testing according to ANSI/TIA/EIA standards. The completion date is to be determined. Bidders must visit the site at 10 a.m. local time 18 Feb.
This job, which is available only to small businesses with annual revenues of less than $25 million, is to provide and install fiber optic cable for six to seven workstations in a conference room, and 10 workstations in a team room.
