BICSI has announced the agenda for its 2026 Winter Conference, an event at which the association says attendees “can help build the foundations for your future.” The conference will feature multiple ways for attendees “to gain essential information and communications technology (ICT) knowledge and learn new skills that can be embraced by the current workforce, as well as inspire future generations in the industry," BICSI adds.

Taking place January 18-22 at the Orlando World Center Marriott, the event will feature the conference itself as well as pre-conference learning opportunities, along with the annual Awards Banquet and Cabling Skills Challenge. The Cabling Skills Challenge is a multi-day event, most of which takes place on the exhibit hall floor, and crowns the Installer of the Year. That crowning takes place as part of BICSI’s annual awards banquet, happening Wednesday evening, January 21.

The main conference begins Tuesday, January 20 and wraps up Thursday, January 22. It includes six education tracks: Intelligent Infrastructure Advancements; Wireless Innovations; AI Transforming Business; AV and Security Integration; Optimizing Data Centers; and Professional, Career, and Business Development. The conference, which also features keynotes each day, will be emceed by Holly Ransom, an authority on leadership and chief executive officer of Emergent Global. Holly emceed BICSI Beyond 2025, the association’s most recent conference that was held in August.

In addition to the Tuesday-to-Thursday conference agenda, BICSI will offer pre-conference master classes on Sunday, January 18 and Monday, January 19. Attendees of these pre-conference master classes earn continuing education credits (CECs) toward the renewal of their BICSI credentials, in addition to the 15 CECs they can earn by attending the main conference. Pre-conference master class session titles include the following.

  • Beyond Data Centers—Unlocking the $25B Heat Pump Power Market with Fault Managed Power

The event also features an exhibition hall with more than 100 companies. The exhibition will be open Monday from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, Tuesday from 2:00 to 6:30 pm, and Wednesday from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Among the learning opportunities on the exhibition floor will be “What’s New, What’s It Do?” sessions held within the BICSI Theater on Monday and Tuesday.
