FNT Software recently announced that it joined major industry leaders, Dell and NVIDIA, in the TM Forum Catalyst project “PIONEER – Predictive Intelligence for Optimized Networks & Enhanced Experience Resilience”. The company describes this as “an ambitious collaboration driving the future of AI-native, self-optimizing telecom networks”.
The PIONEER Catalyst hopes to demonstrate how generative agentic AI, telecom inventory, and horizontal data layer architectures can revolutionize customer experiences and network operations. The Catalyst homes in on three primary functionalities: “Providing a horizontal universal data access and storage layer for inventory and AI, delivering an end-to-end inventory visibility across RAN and IP Transport domains, and accelerating troubleshooting and operations through Copilot and Agentic AI”.
“To achieve Level 4 Network Autonomy, a unified, holistic view and multi-domain inventory awareness is key.” The company notes that the FNT Command Platform is integral to the process as it acts as a cohesive inventory layer that provides a single source of truth across physical, logical, and virtual assets. “With over 30 years of expertise, FNT delivers an AI-ready data model and end-to-end visibility that enables predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and closed-loop assurance.”
Carsten Wreth, CEO of FNT GmbH, “With PIONEER, we’re not just showcasing innovation - we’re building the future of telecom operations. “Together with our Catalyst partners, we’re proving that a unified, standards-based approach—anchored in trusted inventory data—is the key to enabling Level 4 Autonomous Networks.”
