Multidirectional Flood Light Resists Dust, Water, Impact
Milwaukee Tool is expanding its lineup of jobsite lighting products with the M12 ROVER Multidirectional Flood Light, which launches in August. The company says the light is “designed to deliver high-output, adjustable lighting performance for MEP [mechanical, electrical, plumbing] professionals.” The cordless light delivers up to 1200 lumens of Milwaukee’s trademarked TRUEVIEW high-definition output, which the company says “provides bright, consistent illumination for a wide range of jobs.”
The light features three output modes and an adjustable light head with up to 360-degree rotation and 180-degree vertical and horizontal mobility. Users can manage brightness and runtime based on what they need, achieving up to 4 hours of high-output runtime. Alternatively, users can get 8 hours of medium (600-lumen) runtime or 16 hours of low (300-lumen) runtime.
“Engineered for maximum versatility, this new light features a variety of multi-material mounting options with an integrated magnet, hang hook, and PACKOUT compatibility to offer flexible setup and secure jobsite transport,” Milwaukee explained. PACKOUT is Milwaukee Tool’s modular storage and transport system for tools.
“This light features PACKOUT Twist-to-Lock connectivity and includes a PACKOUT Twist-to-Lock Mount, providing users additional mounting capabilities. For added convenience, a built-in USB-C output adds charging for small devices on the job.”
The IP-54-rated M12 ROVER is “built to withstand harsh jobsite conditions,” Milwaukee says, including dust and water resistance in addition to being impact-resistant.
The light comes with a five-year tool warranty and limited lifetime LED warranty. The MSRP is $99.
