Design, Preview, and Print Labels from Your Phone
Brother Mobile Solutions recently introduced two label printers, both of which work with the Pro Label Tool app and allow users to design, preview, and print labels from their phones.
The PT-E720BT is built for tight spaces and constant movement. Brother Mobile Solutions says users can clip the printer to a belt, ladder, or rack and print individual labels up to approximately 1 inch, hands-free.
The PT-E920BT batch-prints strips of peel-and-apply labels in wider formats, up to approximately 1.5 inches. The high-resolution labels enable small text, barcodes, and logos readable.
Brother Mobile Solutions further describes how to use each printer in detail, as follows.
P-Touch Edge 720BT: Use the Pro Label Tool app to design industrial labels on your phone. Choose a label design or template, import Excel or database data, and send to print via Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Attach the battery-powered printer to your belt, ladder, or rack with optional accessories to stay hands-free. Use standard micro-USB to charge the battery or connect to a PC to design and print with the P-touch Editor.
P-Touch Edge 920BT: Design from a library of industrial label formats on your phone with the Pro Label Tool app, using Excel or database file. Send designs to print via Bluetooth to batch print easy peel-and-apply half-cut strips. USB-C supports PC printing from P-Touch Editor and charging the Li-ion battery.
