Termination box
Panduit Network Connectivity Group's zone cabling boxes separate the barriers of plenum/non-plenum environments and the workspace. Each box serves as a high-capacity main cable distribution point for a particular office zone, feeding workstation outlets with short cable runs for voice, data, and video connections. Designed to accommodate 24x24-inch raised floor panels, in-floor boxes are available in 96-, 192-, and 264-port versions. In-ceiling boxes are available in a 120-port version and can accommodate 2x6- and 2x4-inch ceiling grids. Made from 14-gauge aluminum, the boxes may be installed with standard pliers and mounting brackets.

Security cable ties
Molded from ultraviolet (UV)-resistant black nylon, Nelco Products' SuperStrong cable ties feature a 316 stainless steel locking pawl for strength and bundle security. These corrosion-resistant cable ties are ad-justable through the bundling range. Avail-able in sizes from four to 30 inches long and four loop tensile strengths ranging from 18 to 120 pounds, the ties meet MIL-S-23190E specifications. A ribbed and stippled body prevents axial and lateral slippage, reducing the amount of threading forces needed.

Token ring switch
Electro Standards Laboratories' Model 9163 Combine/Split Token Ring switch combines two separate token ring network segments when in "normal" mode, or splits the network into two segments when in the "split" mode. 1U high and 19 inches wide, the switch is designed to mount into a standard 19-inch equipment rack frame or cabinet along with token ring multiple-access units. A front panel-mounted sealed construction rotary switch changes the configuration to be combined or split as required, eliminating the need to plug and unplug connectors. The unit is enclosed in an EMI-shielded enclosure, and is fastened with steel hardware. All connections are made via the front panel for quick access.

Power meter
Terahertz Technologies' FPM-250 incorporates a large-area Indium Gallium Arsenide detector, designed for improved temperature stability at 1,550 nm. The unit is equipped with a universal 2.5- mm ferrule ad-aptor that accepts FC, ST, SC, DIN, and similar connectors without the need for screw-on adaptor caps. Each unit has three calibration wavelengths of 850, 1,310, and 1,550 nm. A reference level for each wavelength can be stored in non-volatile memory to make loss measurements. Also, a battery-saving auto-shutdown mode will turn the device off after 20 minutes.
