Juan-Felipe Gonzalez Hidalgo has been named vice president of international sales at exfo Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. (Vanier, QC, Canada), a maker of fiber-optic test instrumentation. Hidalgo joined exfo as the regional sales manager for Latin America in 1993. In 1996, he became the sales director for Asia and later, international sales director.

Unisource Systems Inc. has added three members to its project management and technical staff. Vickie Marie Horn and Duane G. Wesenberg have been named directors of consulting, while Lisa Holly has been appointed to the technical staff. Horn formerly managed network operations, training, and telecommunications for Baxter Healthcare-Renal Div. Wesenberg had previously worked as vice president of sales for Pilotstone Technologies Inc., a company that he founded. Before coming to Unisource, Holly worked for 13 years in developing call-center applications and telecommunications solutions. Unisource has also announced the appointment of Colonel William Keith of the U.S. Air Force (retired) to the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Associations Security Task Force. He will be responsible for identifying and creating solutions to information management and security issues within the government. He will also develop monitoring guidelines that incorporate new technology solutions.

John D. Rockett has been promoted to senior vice president and general sales manager at Siecor (Hickory, NC). Rockett will be responsible for cable and hardware equipment. He will also manage Siecor`s public networks, private networks, and international sales programs. Rockett previously served as vice president of private-network and international sales. William G. Martin has been promoted to senior vice president of customer support. Previously, he worked as vice president and general sales manager of the company`s cable and hardware equipment divisions.

Tony Gutierrez has been named director of sales for RF Neulink Telemetry Div. (San Diego, CA), a wholly owned subsidiary of RF Industries Ltd. (Los Angeles, CA). Before coming to RF Neulink, Gutierrez worked as international sales manager for BK Radio/relm Communications, a two-way radio manufacturer. He is also the former owner of Combined Engineering Corp., an agency providing equipment and engineering services to U.S., Latin Amer-ican, and South American governments.
