The Model 8003 din Rail Rack Adapter mounts din rail modules onto a 19-inch equipment rack. Mounting three separate sections of din rail to 3-inch-high rack-mounting brackets creates 48-inch total available rail space. The din rail measures 35 x 71/2 millimeters. Each rail section mounts in a different plane. Wire and fiber-optic devices mount with a rack adapter, and non-din rail devices mount with a Model 8002 lan Rail Bracket Kit. Rail devices cost $89 each.
