Surge-protected patch panel

The Protected Patch Panel is a Category 5-compliant connection device with the manufacturer`s surge-protection technology built in. The panel is currently available in a 24-port configuration; a 16-port model is under development. The unit is 19 inches wide and rack-mountable. Other features include a self-resetting bidirectional circuit, built-in wire management, and the ability to shunt surges to ground through an 11-inch braided wire and chassis frame.
