Extended-bandwidth utp cable

UltraMedia unshielded twisted-pair (utp) cable from CommScope has a positive attenuation-to-crosstalk ratio (acr) at 400 megahertz. The cable is engineered for high-speed, full-duplex, parallel transmission protocols and supports voice, video, and data applications, including 3D imaging and broadband video.

Using a patent-pending separator design that CommScope says will provide superior bandwidth performance, the utp cable is designed to support communication speeds >1 gigabit per second with the industry`s highest acr--45 decibels of acr at 100 MHz. UltraMedia also provides the greatest usable bandwidth at extended frequencies, according to the company.

The cable`s pair-to-pair acr is >10 dB at 200 MHz and >24 dB at 100 MHz. The power-sum acr is 0 dB at 275 MHz, while the maximum skew is ? 15 nanoseconds. Power-sum equal-level far-end crosstalk is 32 dB at 100 MHz.

UltraMedia can operate at temperatures from -20o to +60oC, and its dielectric breakdown is 2500 volts DC conductor to conductor. The maximum propagation delay is 5.7 nanoseconds/meter at 10 MHz, while the maximum propagation delay skew is 15 ns/100 meters at 10 MHz.

A hydraulic earth drill with a high-torque anchor handle and utility anchor adapter can significantly improve safety for anchor installation.
Enabling a one-person install, the earth drill has several advantages over manually setting drive rods or using anchor crankers.

These Tower Tech XR cooling towers use evaporative cooling to remove heat generated within the data center by IT equipment. Composite cooling towers are more compact and significantly lighter than metal towers. They arrive at a data center site pre-built.
Data center designers shouldn’t sleep on the benefits of fiberglass construction materials.
