Q: Which of the eia wiring configurations--T568A or T568B--is the crossed one? I have two patch panels--one of each--and I want to purchase another one identical to one of them, but I am having trouble determining which to order.

A: Both T568A and T568B are shown in TIA/EIA-568a, Section 10.4.5, Telecommunications Outlet/Connector. Neither is crossed. Electrically, it does not matter which you choose, but once you have made a choice, stay with the same configuration throughout the site or else you will eternally be trying to determine: Is this the one where I have to swap the orange and green pairs or where I terminate them straight?
