Re-enterable dome closure

Jan. 1, 1995
The Re-enterable Pre-stretched Tubing dome closure provides an air- and water-tight seal to protect cable splices from the harmful effects of the environment. The closure consists of a split polypropylene dome, which is clamped together with a steel latch and sealed with an O-ring. The base of the closure is further protected with a gel sealing collar and an outer flexible tubing material, which mechanically shrinks to the shape of the collar.
