Panduit unveils new copper compression tongue Lugs

Sept. 30, 2005 - Lugs are designed to be used in limited space applications.

Panduit has unveiled its new Pan-Lug Copper Compression Narrow Tongue Lugs.

The lugs are engineered with a narrower tongue width than barrel width for accommodating limited space applications. The connectors are UL Listed and CSA Certified when installed with Panduit and specified competitor tools to provide safe and reliable terminations.

The lugs are made from high-conductivity copper and are tin plated. The are designed to ensure a high-quality, durable connection. Functional product information and color coded die index numbers are marked directly on the connectors for quick identification and easy installation.

The line includes one- and two-stud hole configurations with straight or 45 degree or 90 degree bent tongues for #8 AWG - 750 kcmil copper conductors. The connectors are RoHS compliant, per European Union directive, to help ensure a safer environment.
