PowerDsine granted membership to Cisco Developer Program

June 14, 2005 - Membership of the program is conferred on companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.

PowerDsine Ltd. has recently been granted membership to the Cisco Developer Program.

Program membership is reserved for companies offering complementary and compatible solutions that hold a market leadership position in their respective market sector. It offers customers and resellers the reassurance of timely resolution to support enquiries involving both companies' solutions.

PowerDsine produces IEEE 802.3af-compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) midspan solutions that supply operating power via Ethernet cables to powered devices such as Voice over IP (VoIP) phones, wireless LAN access points (AP) and IP-based cameras. PowerDsine's PoE products can reduce the time and costs associated with installation of such end devices because PoE technology eliminates the need to wire additional AC outlets.

PowerDsine joined the Cisco Technology Developer Partner Program as a Cisco Compatible Wireless Partner in April 2005. Membership of the program is conferred on companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, satisfaction and whose products have successfully completed rigorous interoperability testing in the Cisco labs. Through participation in the Cisco Technology Developer Program, PowerDsine's PoE Midspan and Splitter solutions support Cisco Aironet 1100, 1200, 1300 and 350 wireless APs, providing enterprise customers with a comprehensive PoE solution for deploying wireless LAN applications.

"Membership of this program is extremely important for both resellers and customers of Cisco and PowerDsine," says Igal Rotem, CEO of PowerDsine. "It will provide direct access to each company's technical-support facilities and allow us to offer shared customers the highest levels of support and service."

Powerdsine has offices in Farmingdale, NY. For more information visit www.powerdsine.com.
