Connectivity Solutions Manufacturing to sell vacant warehouse in Omaha, NE

CommScope, Inc. has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Connectivity Solutions Manufacturing, Inc., has entered into an agreement to sell real estate consisting of an approximate 410,000-square foot vacant warehouse and approximately 42 acres at the CSMI manufacturing facility in Omaha, NE.

The sales price for the building and land is $10,500,000.

Closing is expected to take approximately six to eight months and is subject to customary closing conditions including appropriate subdivision approval by local government officials.

"We believe we are effectively executing our plan to reduce cost and improve operations," says Richard Dall'Asen, president of CSMI. "This real estate sale is part of our ongoing effort to enhance our competitive position."

CommScope designs and manufactures "last mile" cable and connectivity solutions for communication networks. Through its Systimax Solutions and Uniprise brands, it produces structured cabling systems for business enterprise applications. The company manufactures coaxial cable for Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) applications.
