Fiber Optic Network Solutions Corp. has added two people to its sales organization.
Christopher Yotides joins the company as director of national accounts and Gary Guilliams has been hired as national sales manager, Mid-Atlantic Region. Both bring almost two decades of valuable sales management experience within the telecommunications industry.
Yotides will direct initiatives focused on further strengthening and expanding the company's position with the world's largest service providers in support of emerging Fiber-to-the-Premises opportunities. He brings nearly 20 years of sales, marketing and product management experience within the telecommunications industry, holding executive management positions within prominent, industry leading companies for more than 10 of those years.
Yotides most recently held the position of vice president of sales at Advanced Fibre Communications (AFC), where he directed the sales initiatives for top tier service provider accounts including Verizon, AT&T, MCI and Qwest. Prior to AFC, Yotides held numerous executive sales management positions including vice president of sales at Zhone Technologies and vice president of sales and sales director at Lucent Technologies.
Guilliams joins the FONS sales team as sales manager, Mid-Atlantic Region, also bringing nearly 20 years of sales management experience within the telecommunications industry. During his career within the industry, Guilliams held numerous sales management positions including, most recently, regional sales manager at Alcoa. While at Alcoa, Guilliams was responsible for solidifying two major contract awards with Verizon valued at $25 million per year, and initiating strategic new business developments within the CATV, IOC and distribution markets. Prior to Alcoa, Guilliams held sales management positions at Qwest Communications and Alcatel Cable Systems where he consistently exceeded sales budgets and earned an award for sales and leadership excellence.
