Middle Atlantic Products/DataTel (www.middleatlantic.com) announced several product introductions aimed at positioning the company as a one-stop shop for purchasers of cabling protection and management equipment.

At BICSI's Winter Conference, the company unveiled the Versa-Rack Sideways Panel Mount system, aluminum relay racks, a line of cable ladders, and a re-engineered WRP series of wall enclosures.

The Versa-Rack Sideways Panel Mount system offers three different rackrail positions and cable-management capabilities, and DataTel says it is targeted at environments in which an unobtrusive mounting solution is necessary. It comes standard with a steel-top cover and is available in two- or four-rackspace models.

DataTel says its self-squaring aluminum relay racks round out its line of rack enclosure systems. The new aluminum racks come in 19- and 23-inch widths and feature 3/16-inch extruded aluminum uprights. The optional RLA-CC cable chase provides additional management functionality.

The cable ladders are available in 6- and 10-foot segments, each of which is 12 inches wide and features triangle wall support brackets for secure fastening.

"By listening to our customers and adding cable ladders to our existing line of low-voltage mounting equipment, Middle Atlantic Products/DataTel can offer low-voltage installers one complete source for all of their equipment mounting needs," said Craig Decker, national sales manager.

The company also debuted a re-engineered version of the WRP wall-enclosure series. New features include relocated fan hole openings, vents on the front of the unit, and a redesigned top. The fan hole openings are now at the bottom of the unit, and the top panel was redesigned to allow easier access to internal equipment.
