3SAE Technologies, Inc. has formed a partnership with Linsang Manufacturing, Inc. The agreement specifies that Linsang Manufacturing Inc. will be the exclusive contract manufacturer of 3SAE's automated optical fiber solutions through 2004.
Carmine Vetrano, president of 3SAE Technologies, Inc., says the agreement will enable the Linsang Manufacturing team to enhance 3SAE's capabilities with engineering, product development and new product introduction. Additionally, Linsang Manufacturing will provide turnkey volume manufacturing, integration and test, networking and other professional services to 3SAE.
"We sought a strategic partner who could meet our requirements for high quality and reliability. The LMI team understands what is necessary to fully realize the promise of our products," says Vetrano.
3SAE's product solutions include an automated optical fiber preparation unit, the AutoPrep. The AutoPrep is designed for automated industrial fiber splicing applications. It can strip, clean and cleave an optical fiber within a nine-second cycle time.
Linsang Manufacturing, based in Beltsville, Md., provides value-added electronics manufacturing, design, and post-production services to established and emerging OEMs.
