BroadbandCareers.Com teams up with Women in Cable & Telecommunications

Sept. 10, 2002
Sept. 10, 2002 - Move will power the new WICT Career Center.

BroadbandCareers.Com has formed an affiliation with Women in Cable & Telecommunications, the oldest and largest association serving women in the industry.

BroadbandCareers.Com will power the new WICT Career Center, providing WICT members with access to thousands of jobs, company profiles and the exclusive Broadsearch Directory which includes more than 8,500 industry-related companies.

"WICT's new partnership with BroadbandCareers.Com allows us to provide our members with enhanced, multi-level career services including resume posting, resume and job searching and detailed company profiles," says Emily Lange, WICT's director of member and chapter services. "In essence, WICT is providing a winning solution for both job seekers and employers, and we encourage both to take full advantage of WICT's Career Center."

WICT is the latest professional association to join the Broadband Careers Network, which includes the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers and others. The network enables each organization's members to explore job opportunities throughout the industry. In addition, the affiliate network benefits employers by increasing their exposure among a targeted pool of potential candidates.

Unlike large, national job boards, BroadbandCareers.Com focuses specifically on the telecommunications industry, enabling professionals to target their career search while providing employers with a more efficient, cost-effective resource to fill key positions. Employers are able to feature their brands, company profiles and recruitment campaigns throughout the Broadband Careers Network.
