HellermannTyton achieves ISO 14001 registration

HellermannTyton (www.hellermann.tyton.com) announced its registration to the ISO 14001 standard, which specifies the elements for designing, implementing, and operating an environmental management system. "An environmental management system which is devised to the elements of the ISO 14001 standard represents a structured approach to setting environmental objectives, targets for achievement, with demonstration that targets have been achieved," the company said in an announcement. It also reported third-party certification by BSI Management Systems.

Becky Skoluda, HellermannTyton's health, safety, and regulations administrator, said, "We are extremely pleased and proud to achieve our ISO 14001 registration. It was a team effort to attain this certification, which involved thorough planning and implementation."

HellermannTyton is part of Spirent plc's Network Products group, an international network technology company.
