Educational institute addresses revised MasterFormat

September 5, 2002--The Formare Educational Institute aims to teach construction-industry professionals about the impending changes to the CSI's MasterFormat construction document.
In response to demand for education covering the full scope of design and construction related to the proposed revisions of the Construction Specifications Institute's MasterFormat, some professionals from the construction industry have formed Formare Educational Institute.
The institute "provides education in a number of key competency areas that affect all stakeholders within the construction and design community," the organization said in a release announcing its formation. Main course areas include professional service sales, construction management, the revised MasterFormat, project management, and system design processes.
