Ortronics appoints new president

June 14, 2002 -- Thomas Goetter takes over June 17

Ortronics Inc. has appointed Thomas Goetter president.

Ortronics' current president, Howard Odom, announced his retirement effective December 2002. Until that time, Odom will serve as executive advisor to Ortronics and Goetter.

Goetter's appointment becomes effective June 17.

Goetter brings to Ortronics more than 20 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, engineering and operations. Prior to his appointment, Goetter spent 13 years with Wiremold, a manufacturer of cable management solutions. At Wiremold, Goetter was vice president of engineering and vice president of project sales for its subsidiary, Walker Systems, Inc.

Goetter has a bachelor's degree in structural engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a master's degree in business administration from the University of West Virginia. He lives in Burlington, Conn. with his wife Mary and their four children.
