Excellence Alliance Inc. acquires National Telecom Alliance

June 17, 2002--EAI says the integration of NTA members will be the foundation of its electrical and telecom alliance.

Excellence Alliance Inc. (EAI--www.eainet.net) recently announced that it acquired the National Telecom Alliance. EAI calls itself "an organization dedicated to maintaining and creating opportunities for independent contractors and providing them with a network of resources to continue their success." EAI provides training, purchasing power, human resources, consulting, and marketing services to its members.

"NTA was designed to maximize member-company profitability through implementation of industry business solutions, proprietary programs, and systems proven to enhance performance of companies," says Michael O'Mara, former chief executive officer of NTA. "NTA filled the void for telecommunications and electrical contractors by providing a national forum and marketing organization to help businesses grow."

EAI says the integration of NTA and its members will serve as the foundation for a new EAI electrical and telecom alliance. Last year EAI announced that it would expand its member base to provide a complete mechanical solution to businesses and consumers. The organization established new alliance territories for plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration contractors and created an advisory board to service these areas.

EAI says it has more than 250 members, representing more than 20,000 employees and more than $2.5 billion in sales.
