Conference will look at emerging optical fiber market

KMI Research's 25th annual conference on optical fiber markets will look at how the industry is trying to emerge from a down economy.

The conference, which will be cosponsored by Cabling Installation & Maintenance, will take place Oct. 7 through 9 at the Hyatt Regency Newport in Newport, RI.

This year's theme is: Survivors Forum: The Courage to Move Forward.

The conference will look at today's industry, and place it in perspective with the past 25 years. It will also look at current and future business tactics of optical fiber carriers and suppliers in today's market. Speakers will address how suppliers are now refining their manufacturing practices.

Speaker topics will include technology updates on optical fiber cable, and survival tales from both carriers and suppliers.
