Rivas joins Formare Technica

July 31, 2002--He will manage the company's WAN procurement services.

Jess Rivas has been named manager of WAN procurement services for Formare Technica (www.formare-technica.com). "In these financially troubled times, the telecommunication provider incumbents, the RBOCs and the ILECs, find themselves challenged to meet the ever-increasing expectations of the enterprise customer," says James C. Waddell, president and founder of Formare Technica. "Our U.S. market study has produced undeniable results indicating the need for qualified assistance in WAN procurement. As enterprise customers continue to downsize and centralize operations, the need for competitively priced and effectively timed WAN installation has become paramount.

"Jess Rivas has an extensive track record of quality and success, and brings to us an expert knowledge of the ANSI-approved Project Management processes dictated by PMI," Waddell continues. "Jess has been a telecommunications planning and design manager and a mergers/acquisitions and network vendor relations manager for a Fortune 100 financial institution, and a senior project manager for a national fiber-optics-based telecommunications provider."

Formare Technica provides consultative design and project-management services.
