The Siemon Company (www.siemon.com) has introduced Ultra 6, a next-generation Category 6/class E cabling system.

The system features Siemon's Ultra Series connectivity products, and the company says it is designed to support multi-gigabit applications.

Siemon's Ultra 6 component performance has been ETL Verified. ITS/ETL Semko testing confirmed that Ultra 6 products exceed all applicable component specifications of the ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2.1, Draft 11, Commercial Building Telecommunications Standard - Part 2: 100-ohm Balanced Twisted Pair Cabling Components.

Carl Siemon, president and CEO of The Siemon Company, says ETL testing confirms that the Ultra 6 channel solution exceeds worst-case performance specifications without sacrificing component compliance. The system is designed to be both interoperable with other Category 6 systems and backwards compatible with previous-generation UTP cabling systems.

Siemon says Ultra 6 has a comprehensive warranty, covering worst-case performance, installation and applications, for 20 years.

All of The Siemon Company's Ultra 6 products, which include the Ultra MAX jacks, Ultra HD Patch Panels, S210 Connecting Blocks and Ultra MC Patch Cords, are now available.
