Com21 (www.com21.com), a provider of system solutions for broadband access, recently appointed Dawn Truax as regional vice president of sales for the Americas region. In this position, she reports to the company's chief operating officer, Jeff Jarvis.

Previously, Truax was vice president of sales for Apogee Networks, a New Jersey developer of usage-based chargeback billing systems for enterprises and service providers. She has also worked with Lucent Technologies and AT&T.

"This market and this sales team hold great opportunity, and I'm delighted to lead the charge in the Americas region," Truax said.
