IMC Networks opens East Coast sales office

February 25, 2002--The office will support the company's reseller and distributor partners in the Caribbean and Latin America.

IMC Networks (www.imcnetworks.com) has opened a new East Coast sales office in Clearwater, FL.

The new sales office is designed to help IMC Networks better support its existing reseller and distribution partners in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The company's products are now distributed in more than 50 countries by a network of resellers and distributors, and by Graybar, Ingram Micro, and Tech Data in the United States.

"The addition of this new sales operation will help us meet the growing demand for our physical layer connectivity, optical networking and bandwidth management solutions in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Eastern United States," says James Jordan, vice president of sales and marketing for IMC Networks. "In addition to supporting the efforts of our existing reseller and distribution partners, this new East Coast sales operation will be instrumental in helping us broaden our efforts in these regions."
IMC Networks creates physical layer networking solutions. It manufactures media and optical fiber mode converters. The company offers a wide range of solutions from stand-alone converters to SNMP manageable modular systems.
