Fujitsu Takamisawa Connector Chosen for Infiniband Architecture

Fujitsu Takamisawa America Inc.'s (www.fujitsu.takamisawa.com) MicroGigaCN (MicroGiga Connector) has been selected by the InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) (www.infinibandta.com) as the standard input/output (I/O) connector for InfiniBand's 4x and 12x I/O interface.

Fujitsu Takamisawa America Inc.'s (www.fujitsu.takamisawa.com) MicroGigaCN (MicroGiga Connector) has been selected by the InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) (www.infinibandta.com) as the standard input/output (I/O) connector for InfiniBand's 4x and 12x I/O interface. The MicroGiga CN offers a cost-effective I/O solution for high-speed applications in data and telecommunications convergence (voice, data, video, and storage). Production quantities will be available in January 2001.
