Cisco Systems, Inc., (www.cisco.com) announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Radiata, Inc. (www.radiata.com). Radiata provides Cisco with leading semiconductor technology and extensive radio and modem systems expertise for developing next-generation wireless networks based on the IEEE 802.11a standard.
