Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group (www.lucent.com/micro) introduced Active Ethernet, a new feature that provides power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities for the entire ORiNOCO (www.lucent.com/orinoco) product line of enterprise, outdoor, and public area wireless networking equipment.
