BLT Ventures has acquired CSD Industries Inc., D/B/A C Enterprises.

C Enterprises, located in Vista, Calif., manufactures custom cable assemblies for the data and telecommunications market. The company was founded in 1985, and experienced steady growth as the data and telecommunications industries expanded, peaking in 2000 with $14 million in revenues.

The company experienced a dramatic decline in sales with the collapse of corporate investment. Brian Tauber, owner of BLT Ventures, says he will now lead the company to renewed growth.

Tauber says he will operate the new company, C Enterprises, L.P., from its Vista facility. He will serve as the president and CEO.

Steve Yamasaki will act as president of sales.

"Having worked at C Enterprises for 10 years, prior to a four-year position with another company, I understand the needs of our customers," says Yamasaki. "Although the industry is not rebounding as hoped, I see considerable opportunity through improved customer service and an aggressive sales strategy"
