The Wiremold Company has announced that its TableSource work surface modules now meet new Underwriters Laboratories Inc.'s spill resistance standards.

TableSource modules attach directly to work surfaces, such as desks, lecterns, and task tables, to provide access to power and communications outlets. These outlet centers are now available with an optional hard-wired power connection.

In order to meet the new Underwriters Laboratories spill standard, TableSource modules feature a gasketed 15A receptacle that resists moisture and dust. Communications connectivity options include industry standard and proprietary devices from a wide range of manufacturers. The units can be configured to include as many as four receptacles and communications openings, in addition to standard configurations of one duplex receptacle and a choice of one or two communications openings.

TableSource modules can be plugged into an outlet or hard wired directly to the electrical infrastructure. The cord-ended option offers the mobility of a power cord.

The Wiremold Company, based in West Hartford, Conn., offers a line of wire and cable management solutions. These include perimeter raceway, infloor, overhead, open space, and furniture systems. For more information visit www.wiremold.com.
