Anderson Power Products (www.andersonpower.com) has enhanced its Web site with the addition of the Smart Product Configurator for the company's lines of PowerMod and Power Drawer products. Anderson develops power-interconnection solutions for such systems as backup power, uninterruptible power supplies, and telecommunications.

The APP Smart Product Configurator allows Web users to access product features and specify the products they need. The configurator simplifies the selection of correct product numbers, Anderson says, and allows users to dynamically build drawings that verify product selection.

The configurator allows a user of the site to select a product in one of four ways: through a wizard-style part-number builder, direct part-number search, competitor part-number search, or product-feature search. Once a part number has been selected additional capabilities are available.
