Since joining HCM in 1988, Ruggiero has led the company through three plant expansions and streamlined productivity to grow revenue by 400%. "With more than 27 years of experience in cable manufacturing and plant management, Ruggiero will successfully lead HCM's production, engineering, sales, and marketing teams using his proven hands-on management approach," the company said in its announcement of his promotion.

"Ron's promotion represents a milestone in HCM's history as he is the first non-Japanese president of a Hitachi Cable Ltd. overseas subisidary," explains Brian Griggs, HCM's senior vice president. "Obviously, this is a testimony to Ron's strength as a leader and his commitment to success here at HCM. We look forward to realizing continued growth under Ron's direction."
