Communications expo, seminars scheduled for Puerto Rico

July 24, 2003
July 24, 2003--This year's CaribeCom event, November 19-21 in San Juan, will include technical sessions on emerging technologies.

A long-running communications exhibition in Puerto Rico will be accompanied by a collection of technical presentations this fall. CaribeCom has existed as an industry exposition for more than 20 years. When it is held again November 19-21, 2003, attendees will also have the opportunity to gain technical knowledge through a series of four technical presentations to run November 19 and 20.

PennWell, which organizes CaribeCom and also owns Cabling Installation & Maintenance magazine and the Cabling News newsletter, has enlisted National Communications Training Centers (www.nctc.us) to present on the following topics:
* Gigabit Ethernet - The New Frontier
* Technology for Voice/Data/Video Infrastructure
* Wireless Networks
* The Emerging Residential Communications Market

Detailed plans for the entire event are still solidifying. Anybody who would like more information can visit the CaribeCom web site by clicking here.
