Molex Premise Networks appoints Mortensen president, Americas

April 17, 2003--The RCDD and Certified Fiber Optic Technician was most recently director of business development at Berk-Tek, and has held executive positions within Panduit.

Molex Premise Networks (www.molexpn.com) has appointed Randy Mortensen to the position of president, Americas. With more than 13 years' experience in the structured cabling marketplace, Randy will provide global leadership regarding management, distribution, sales, marketing, and product development.

Prior to joining Molex Premise Networks, Mortensen held a variety of positions including director of business development at Berk-Tek, a Nexans company; as well as vice president of datacom sales and managing director EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) with Panduit.

Randy holds a mechanical engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Loyola University. He has earned the Registered Communications Distribution Designer and Certified Fiber Optic Technician designations.
