Texas Prototypes partners with 3SAE

May 19, 2003 - Company seeks 3SAE's optical fiber equipment for lab in Richardson, Texas.

Texas Prototypes, Inc. is partnering with 3SAE Technologies, Inc., which will supply advanced optical manufacturing equipment for its new state-of-the-art photonics lab located in Richardson, Texas.

Texas Prototypes specializes in quick-turn complex circuit card assemblies and optoelectronic prototyping, new product introduction and pilot production of electronic assemblies for technology innovators and original equipment manufacturers and contract manufacturers. The company is housed in a 14,000-square-foot high-tech facility, located in the heart of the Texas telecom corridor.

3SAE will provide its entire optical fiber manufacturing product line to Texas Prototypes including automated fiber preparation equipment using patented burst stripping technology.

3SAE is the North American distributor of Ericsson fusion splicers and fiber recoaters and is a technical trainer of advanced optical fiber splicing techniques. The new equipment is designed to place Texas Prototypes among the most advanced photonics labs throughout the U.S.
