IDEAL INDUSTRIES appoints vice president to Wire Termination Business Unit

Feb. 19, 2003 - Ned Camuti will focus on direction of strategic planning.

IDEAL INDUSTRIES, Inc. has appointed Ned Camuti to vice president/general manager of its Wire Termination Business Unit. Camuti was previously general manager for the unit.

Robert Lane, president and CEO of IDEAL INDUSTRIES, made the announcement at the company's annual meeting.

In his new expanded role, Camuti will focus on the direction of strategic planning, marketing and the financial aspects of the IDEAL Wire Termination Business Unit. He will report directly to Lane.

Camuti began his career with IDEAL in 1992 as director of marketing and sales for Buchanan Construction Products, Inc. He subsequently assumed the position of director of marketing for the Electrical Division.

Prior to joining IDEAL, Camuti was a sales and marketing engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corp.; branch manager for Maddux Supply Company in Charlotte, N.C; and district and national sales manager for McGraw-Hill Publishing for trade magazines EC&M, CEE News and Electrical Wholesaling.

IDEAL INDUSTRIES, based in Sycamore, Ill., manufactures connectors, tools and supplies to the datacom industry. Its wire termination products are used in electrical construction, OEM and branch circuit wiring applications. For more information visit
