ADC The Broadband Company signs distributor agreement

Feb. 10, 2003 - TVC Communications will distribute ADC optical fiber products.

ADC The Broadband Company has signed a new distributor agreement with TVC Communications.

The agreement enables TVC to distribute ADC connectivity products throughout North America. Products included in the distribution agreement include RFWorx RF signal management platforms, PowerWorx fuse and circuit breaker panels, and optical fiber distribution frames and panels, as well as an exclusive distribution agreement for ADC's optical fiber patch cords designed for the multiple systems operator (MSO) market.

"The addition of TVC as a distributor of our copper and fiber connectivity solutions is great news for both companies," says Rob Cain, director of broadband solutions for ADC. "With TVC on board, we'll expand our market presence, delivering our world-class products to MSOs who work with TVC to design and develop their networks."

The copper and fiber connectivity solutions to be distributed by TVC are products designed and engineered for head-ends and hubs. These products are designed to provide superior cable management solutions and enable MSOs to design and manage flexible, reliable networks that can evolve to accommodate new subscribers and new service offerings.

"TVC's partnership with an industry giant such as ADC further demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with the best quality products available," says Rick Anderson, TVC vice president of U.S. technical sales. "ADC products represent some of the best in the business and will fit nicely into the TVC product offering."
