March 19, 2001 Alcatel Optronics (www.alcatel.com) and Laser 2000 (www.laser2000.com) have signed an agreement to develop the distribution of optical modules and sub-systems in Europe. Alcatel Optronics will extend its services to clients on a localized basis in several European countries. Laser 2000 will enrich its product catalogue with opto-electronic components for optical telecommunication networks.
