Sumitomo LIGHTRAY MPX Passes Tyco's Intermateability Testing

March 26, 2001 Sumitomo Electric Lightwave's (SEL) LIGHTRAY MPX multifiber system has passed Tyco Electronic Corporation's intermateability testing.

Sumitomo Electric Lightwave (SEL) (www.sumitomoelectric.com) announced that its LIGHTRAY MPX multifiber system has passed Tyco Electronic Corporation's intermateability testing. Sumitomo is the first MPX licensee to have passed Tyco's stringent testing requirements in mechanical, environmental, and backplane intermateability evaluations.
