TIA Requests Additional Spectrum for 3G Wireless Services

March 5, 2001 The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is trying to make additional spectrum for third-generation (3G) wireless services available.

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) (www.tiaonline.org) has filed comments with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the Commission's proceeding aimed at making available additional spectrum for third-generation (3G) wireless services. TIA continues to urge the FCC to make available additional spectrum that is suitable for advanced services, including 3G.
